Speaking of brain freezes…

It’s been brought to my attention by a concerned friend who plays way too much Boggle, that I had a brain freeze in English as well as Spanish when I wrote about baking cookies the other day.  She suggested that perhaps the reason I couldn’t get anyone to understand what I was looking for, was that I didn’t know the word for flour was in fact not “flower”.

Yes yes…whatever.  Said brain freeze has been corrected.  Thank you to all my other friends who noticed but were too polite to say anything.  My friend is Dutch.  That should pretty much explain everything.

I’ve said many times that my Spanish is not getting much better…but my English is getting a lot worse.

So now I can’t speak in two languages….

For the record, I have not played Boggle in a very long time…I’m naturally linguistic AND I’m a Canadian who happens to come from Dutch origins. I’d offer to be the official editor of your blog but, I think that would just get irritating after awhile…so, I’ll be the unofficial editor instead.

    Yes, well…that’s great. Thank you.

Nice use of the word “linguistic” by the way…

Oh yea…and irritating for who exactly?

    I noticed but… didn’t feel led to mention it…

Speaking of freezing, our winter camping trip was great! Possible exception being the night… The kid next to me was up all night going in and out of the quinzee because he drank a can of pop right before bed… And he didn’t pack a good sleeping bag so I gave him mine… And my socks… In the end, he was finally fairly comfortable but it wasn’t the best night for me. Ah well. “Suffering for the Lord…”

And that is why we’re friends Philip…

Yea…well, not sure how much sympathy I have for you. You did purposely choose to sleep surrounded by snow.

    I’m just saying…
